[Update - Pics] !!!!!WARNING !!!!!! ~ABOUT NEW DELL XCD35~ 2012 edition

This is a Warning to all buyers of New Dell XCD35 in India!!!!

                      NEW DELL XCD35 IS A CHINESE VERSION OF ZTE BLADE

If you are buying a new Dell xcd35 and it have a nice shiny back instead of regular rubber finishing then it is a Chinese version of ZTE Blade instead of European Version......

In early supply by Dell xcd35 is a European Version....

It means that there are high chances of bricking it if you update it using custom rom........and of course it is locked to a ~166MB of RAM......

Now It is written MADE IN CHINA now on the box....

I buyed it on 25th of january 2012 and updated it using guide available on this site ....As it says Dell xcd35 is compatible to this guide...as it it is tested on Older dell xcd35 (European version)....But mine new shiny Dell xcd35 aka ZTE Blade aka ZTE U-v880 (Chinese Version)......got bricked and till now no success....

So, Please Be aware of this fact Before updating your new DELL XCD35 (chinese ZTE Blade)......

so new Dell xcd35 with shiny back is a chinese blade......

And ya my phone is working again {was bricked on 30-Jan-2012}......

As all the chinese blade files worked for me it means that it is a chinese blade....WTF...

    i treid to install coustom rom and got bricked.

      i followed this to unlock 512 ram(4steps procedure) http://android.modaco.com/topic/337933-unlock-512-mb-ram-at-gen2-blade/page__st__40 .my phone got bricked.then i came to know that this new xcd35 has only 166mb ram through this blog,then i followed this link. http://android.modaco.com/topic/343587-guide-de-bricking-a-zte-blade/ (method 5th).

      at present i can boot into clockworkmode,but when i tried to flash ROM ,it again entering into cwm mode.
      i am new to android,and there is no service center at my place,and i dont think they replace the mobile,because i have rooted the mobile.
      plllllllllz show me solution.

      u r in same condition as i was....if u r following the Method 5...then after flashing rom it will boot into recovery automatically i.e. without pressing any button..so you have to ignore this state and just follow the next step to restore your IMEI....remember to restore IMEI u have to connect your phone to computer in fastboot mode by pressing volume up and power on , your phone should not progress beyond green android logo...if you get sucess in that comment here again i will tell you how to get warranty back and get a replacement...i got the replacement with the grey XCD35 and it have 300 usable internal memory and 512mb ram/~300MB free ram...
